Paint protection

I am fixing the paint under the gas tank filler from gas w/ethanol blistering the paint, Now I don't intentionally use ethanol but a lot of premium gas is cut with ethanol to raise the octane level.

My question is where can I find a clear film to cover the paint that is ethanol resistant, I know I have seen it advertised but can't rrre4call where I saw it, any ideas?

Re: Paint protection

Is that stuff they have been advertising on TV resistant?  It is a spray-on coating that can be removed.  I cannot remember the name of the manufacturer...  Gotta watch GEARZ again...

Re: Paint protection

If it is 3M and Armor All both make it. I tried to look but it didn't say if it was chemical resistant.

Re: Paint protection

Well I sent a email to 3M inquiring about their products, they replied that they do no have any products at this time that are imperious to gas, the search continues.
