    Rocker Panel Moulding

    What are people's opinions of fitting rocker panel moulding to a 64-1/2?
    Just something I've wondered about fitting...

    1964-1/2 D Code Coupe - 289 V8, 4 Speed Toploader, 3.00 ratio rear, Autolite 4100 Carb, 15" tires, Pertronix ignition

    I have wondered how it would look painted body color.

    I was just thinking of the polished stainless look. I never thought of painting them. Would they be susceptible to stone chips and stuffs if painted?
    Do you think they add something to the car?

    Rocker panels got their name for a reason.

    I like the look, my only concern is making holes on a nice panel, crud to clean out and paint rubbing.

    Are your wheels polished too?

    I think I have the same concerns...
    My wheels are polished.
