1980 Ford Fiesta....not Festiva...basically a Volkswagen rabbit with Ford styling and badging.
Fun 4 speed, kick myself for wrecking it after graduation...it was drive-able, just not pretty.
Passenger front fender and headlight bucket.

Unibody repairs cost as much as the car.
It was sold to junkyard just before going active duty.

Re: Builds gone bye

I don't know why but I'm going to share another picture, not of builds gone bye, but Days Gone Bye. My longtime friend is scanning negatives and sending them to me. We sure had fun back in the day.

That grabber orange still looks good today. Not everybody like orange cars, or red for that matter

Since I first saw Coupedaddy's cool ride parked next to mine at the hotel in Ft Walton Beach I've liked its weathered look. More than once when he mentioned painting it I told him, if you paint it, I'll kill ya. With such an outstanding result of the paint selection, I think I'll let my threat slide.

I know what you mean Bearing Bob, I felt the same way about it. There's something to say about that old school look. I can't blame a guy wanting a little shine. Looks good Coupe Daddy!!!!!

If this forum can't fix it, it isn't broke.
