When did Ford make a well designed turn signal switch?
Make(s) and model(s)?
I’ve been thinking again....serious question though.
I should’ve just left my broken cam in there.

What year Chevy switch?

I am not sure what year they use. My 65 Corvette had s real nice switch in it, but it did not look like it would fit in a Mustang column. Maybe if you use the Chevy bell-shaped piece, removing the Mustang one, it could be done?
In my opinion, two items that NEED a proper retrofit fix are the steering column switches and the windshield wiper system.
I converted my 66 to a 69 wiper motor using an F-100 1979 intermittent wiper switch, and it is one of the most beneficial mods I have ever done. Those who don’t take their cars on bash trips can never appreciate this mod.

Could some electronic genius build a digital turn signal for these Mustangs. I've had enough of my aftermarket crap

At least in 67 or 68 (Ithink) they added the lane change feature where you could hold the lever partially depressed and it would return on its own. Unlike 65-66, either on or off only.

Ford didn't make them, a contractor did. This company sells some turn signal switches that are made by the original Ford contractor but they don't have one for the '65/'66 Mustang. They do have a USA made TSS however.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
