Good Morning,
I will pull my dizzy to prime the engine soon and I thought while I am in there.... What if anything should I check out to make sure the dizzy is in proper working order? Please keep in mind it is a bone stock 1965 mustang 289. It was recurved about ten years ago. Suggestions?
thank you!

Well, it's always easier to set up new points with the dizzy on the bench. Also, if it's been setting a while you prolly want to make sure the fly-weights are not gunked up and verify that the vac diaphram works. Maybe get a little pre-lube in the shaft bushings.
