Just asking, Wouldn't you rub the frame if you went shorter?

WAS TRYING TO MAKE SURE MINE WERE NOT LONGER....BOLT TO BOLT IS 3.50 AND I GOOGLED AND FOUND OUT THAT WAS STOCK SO MAYBE ITS NOT THE PROBLEM.

Yes. The shackles aren't your problem. Its starting to seem like you got reverse eye springs arched for a stock ride height...

THEY RIDE A LOT BETTER THAN THE OLD ONES AND IT SEEMS TO HAVE SETTLED A LITTLE AND LOOKS BETTER THAN THAT FIRST DAY OR 2.

Shackles on mine are 3.5” as well.

WHAT ARE LEAF SLIDERS FOR OPENTRACKER SELLS ON HIS SITE?

They are for drag racing and mono leaf springs. Basically they replace the shackles, but instead of the shackle moving fore and aft with spring movement the slider allows the spring itself to move fore and aft in the slider track, which is mounted to the frame.
I don't know how they'd be on the street or in a handling application. Drag guys seem to love them.
