No sir, This is a brand new rebuild so it is still tight. 180 stat, 24" 2 core 1" tubes American Egale rad. I have AC but was not on at the time, and have moved the rad as close as I could get it to the AC condenser without it touching. I have 5/8" from the fan to the rad at the top of the shroud and about 1/4" at the bottom. Also have 4 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 cutouts in the shroud corners with rubber doors for on the hwy. This fan does move a little more air then the Derale did . I ran the AC for about 5 minutes while on the hwy but the temp didnt go up any but the car got cold inside, may not have been long enough to make extra heat.

Well just checked my MPG on this first road trip witch had nice long hills. With just regular gas I got 16.5 mpgs at 55-60. Not bad at all for a car with a C4 and no OD, no EFI
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
