Thanks to Mr. Tim's suggestion The Galaxie got an upgrade

Some time in the past I posted a pictures of when I put a Mustang steering column in the Galaxie.  Mr. Tim noticed my steering wheel cover and suggested I upgrade to a stitch up cover as it "would look more professional"  Turns out he was correct.

What I want to know is how long between Mr. Tim's suggestion and you making the change.  And...how did you change that cover without disturbing that pile of leaves on the floor?

I almost didn't make this post because I knew I would get a well deserved rash of crap   The answer to the first question is years but that is not why there are leaves.  The car winters in a carport and likes to collect a few leaves in the cowel.  They all blow out with the first drive and endup at my feet.  As to not disturbing them, The wheel was not in the car when I installed the cover.
