    Mystery parts

    When stripping down my 67 project car I found these straps of metal to be riveted to the window channels on both sides of the car.
    Is this a normal or not.any help would be appreciated 
    Sorry I’m having issue posting the pic.

    I’m going to try and post the pic thru Facebook since I’m having issues try to post them here.
    these are on the top side of the drip rail on the roof.
