When stripping down my 67 project car I found these straps of metal to be riveted to the window channels on both sides of the car.
Is this a normal or not.any help would be appreciated

these are on the top side of the drip rail on the roof.

they are the strips for a vinyl roof. Thank you mustang Steve.
