1966 fastback 289 Exhaust System with Headman Long Tube Headers, C4

I'm Running Long tube Headman elite headers with Flowmaster 40s Mufflers, but i keep  feeling a vibration thru the body, anyone had similar issues i seem to have good correct muffler clamps and insulators? but i'm hoping to get some of these bugs/vibrations out my problem is when car is sitting at Idle in gear driving there are no issues, Engine tranny mounts are all new, I'm hoping to get car up on Drive on hoist at some point but for now im working on finding a solution maybe one of you had similar issues.the problem seems to be in the rear pipes after muffler,my tailpipes exit out rear valance
Any advice solutions welcomed

Re: 1966 fastback 289 Exhaust System with Headman Long Tube Headers, C4

Sometimes the tailpipe hangers will have more or less tension on them than the muffler hangers.  They need to be equal or you will get a vibration.  Also be sure the tips are not contacting the chrome ring on the valance.  Also be sure tailpipe clamp is not hitting the gas tank.  It is usually a real close fit.

Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.
