The fuel line is not fastened to anything except the fuel pump and the carb feed line. It touches nothing on the way and is very rigid. Designed to provide clearance for any bolts that would ever need to be removed.

I had to zoom in and look at it closer.  There was a bend very close to a fastener in one of the pics, I mistook that for a clamp.  Nice work!

Re: 1/2” billet valve cover spacers blended onto 1984 Mustang 5.0 covers

Many, many years ago I band sawed and milled a set of rocker cover risers from a 1/2” sheet of 6061 t6 aluminum plate for a friends unmentionable brand of engine.
He chose to use double gaskets instead of bonding them. AFAIK they did not leak.
The way Steve did it is much cleaner.

Re: 1/2” billet valve cover spacers blended onto 1984 Mustang 5.0 covers

Wowie so what's the going rate if I was to ship you my engine and have you build it? With the looks of your skills I would most likely a assume out of my price range. Very nice work.

Figure those valve covers would cost you $600 if you bought them from me, and go from there.  I really am trying to retire from doing engines, but I really enjoy it, and it seems there is always JUST ONE MORE…

Here are the plug wire retainers I made a long time ago.
Never got around to taking off the ugly oe tab  at the time.

This is the foxbody routing, as was done on Jose’s 5.0 in his 65 fastback. Apparently, he got the last of the foxbody separators.

I found these come with bolts too

That is them. Costs more than twice as much to include those bolts that are too short when spacers are added. But, glad to see they are available, as they work well with the pre-1984 POWERED BY FORD valve covers
