That's my philosophy..... Spend a dollar to save a dime.

I knew a guy that would drive to the next town, 15 miles away, to save a few cents a gallon on gasoline.

Do you still do that Rudi? 😁

LOL, Hey not  me Boberino, he was a fellow exp a/c builder and work mate, long gone like most of my buddies.
Sad thing about getting on is all that remains are memories of these guys.

As for gas, I deal with a Canada wide company that gets me ten cents a litre off gas when accumulating  a 2k previous monthly balance on their cc. That’s roughly 40 cents a gallon.

Re: Saginaw Gen II TC power steering hookup

I live on the border of MD and PA.  PA prices have always been higher than DE, but MD used to be $0.20/gallon cheaper for Diesel, and at 33-35 gallons per fill up $6.60-$7.00/week was worth an extra 5 minute ride.  Some years back MD in their infinite wisdom decided to raise the tax on fuel and liquor (the two things people from DE used to cross the border to buy).  Three liquor stores on the border are now out of business (how does that even happen?!).  What I really love is how the party that controls these decisions in MD is the same one that cries about how corporations don't pay enough tax and are greedy.  Seems corporations don't have a monopoly on greed.
