I posted the pic URL because that was all it would let me do for some reason. Would not load from Imgg. Tried 2 different browsers, neither one would work. Thanks for fixing it Rufus.
Here's how you can get the image URL: (this is how I did it)
When you're looking at the photo on Imgg, right click on the photo and select "Open image in new tab".
Then the URL being used in the new tab is the direct URL to your photo.
Copy this URL to your clipboard and paste it in your Post here on the forum.
I think I tried your way - it didn't work. I uploaded the picture and then I clicked on the image icon and the picture popped up. I might try that again on another post....wish me luck.

Okay it worked that time...

It's nice when it works. A good way to start the New Year. I hope all things in the coming year cooperate as well.

Would this site being converted to a Facebook page help with traffic and making it easier to manage?

For the people like me that will not have Facebook accounts be excluded that way?

Facebook groups are a great way to share pictures, and it can be a good platform to sell stuff.
The search functions of Facebook groups are horrible.
Facebook is for entertainment.
Facebook group posts are similar to a conversation with someone suffering Alzheimer's disease, the same questions get asked over and over again.
There is no accountability for things to be correct, if anything it is a breeding ground for wives tales and misinformation, even with car related things.
I'm pretty sure society is going towards "Idiocracy" and "Don't Look Up". Forums like this are treasure trove of information that must not go extinct.

'MOST' old pootz like me...( and some-of-y'all) don't "DO" facebook because of the politics....don't wanna support the guys that own & run it....HOW they run it...and all that was said above^^^.
A LOT of the wives & grandmaz like to "post their pictures and such and look at the grand babies" butt
......
the stuff you post is ON THERE FOREVER (which is a scary thought)...on here too probably butt, the audience is a lot smaller too.
It's hard enough for me to figger out how to post pictures and stuff on here without "re-learning" how to do it on My-Face
(or whatever)
Call me old skool........lazy...ruint.......whatever butt-hay, that's how I roll.
(I still like to get postcards!! Remember those?!)

To me its just a time suck. I've already got enough ways to waste my time if I have any to spare.

Facebook sucks large time as a forum. Try and search "Something" a week later; Impossible.

Yeah, if more people don't start posting on this forum, I really cannot see the reason for it to exist.
Thanks for keeping the site around, Steve! (and the parts!)
I'll never get over the selfishness of the TFFN guy taking his site down with all those years of info just gone....
I know it cost money, but that was a collective capture of knowledge.
Oh well, I'll continue to search this site and others as I have questions!

Have you seen the movie, "Idiocracy"? Totally stupid but as a look at our potential future it right on in my opinion. Like I said, totally stupid, pretty funny though once.

Its a favorite of mine because its funny, but also seems to sadly be coming true. Mike Judge is pretty brilliant when you look at the stuff he's done. The series he did Silicon Valley was also great. It really explains everything that goes on in the tech industry, venture capital industry, etc.
