Duraspark and TFI distributors

I haven’t been able to find an answer to this.

Can a Duraspark distributor provide a PIP signal for EECIV?

If so, how does it need to be modified?

Re: Duraspark and TFI distributors

Why would you want to use the Duraspark with EECIV?

Re: Duraspark and TFI distributors

Just the distributor BB as input for EECIV.
Just as a trigger pulse.

My understanding, PIP is a square wave…Duraspark is a sine wave.

Re: Duraspark and TFI distributors

Anything would seem to be possible if you're willing to try hard enough, but the TFI distributor the EECIV is supposed to have also uses the TFI module for many things dealing with spark.  Given the choice between TFI and Duraspark I'd run the TFI every time.  Just stay away from overseas built TFI modules.
