66 coupe 289.
I am starting to rewire the car. There is not much room at the old fuse block location & the new fuse block is much bigger , and would be hard to access because of the cowl. Any ideas for a new location. Thanks DK

The kit I bought mounts it under the dash just to the right of the steering column. I states this location will interfear with stock AC.

I always thought it would be neat to put the fuse block in the ash tray. Just slide it open to access fuses.

A pal of mine(who is a lectric whiz!) helped me put an axuillary fuse block in my 66. His/our idea was to put it under the glove box and mount it on top of the heater assembly! With enough extra wire so you can pull it out and get to it. Got my radio and ....something else running thru it. It comes directly off the battery butt you could wire that part your way. Really is handy and no standing on your head to get to it!
