I will be putting the 24 inch radiator in too....so if I can remember what the mod to the battery tray was to turn it.
I am thinking it was a 34 size battery

34 red top. Use this battery tray to clear the radiator. You need the Optima or some battery with rounded corners so you don’t have to loosen the radiator to get the battery in/out. Use 67 style hold down clamp and j-bolts
I made a custom top bracket for my 66 as shown in pic.

And BILLY, I would recommend stripping off that lame powder coating they use and Poor 15 that baby 🙂

On my 65 I am using group 35 with custom 3D printed hold downs, I dont like the straps. You also see I dont have all that stock wiring on the iner fender.
