Re: There’s a new Pony in my stable

A little history here about this car - a 1965 A code convertible. Just purchased from my late brother in law's estate. He has had the car since about 1982. In 1985 he did a almost full restoration, and has driven the car very little since that time. It had spent much of it's time in storage, only occasionally driven. NOW here's the kicker. This was my wife's car when I first met her back in 1972. We were married in 1975, but the car didn't come with the bride...... It was given to her younger brother a few years after that in 1982. When he did the restoration - even though the car was an A code - it actually had a 221 installed with the older C-4!!! He found, rebuilt and installed a 289 4bbl with the correct model C-4 trans. The car is in pretty good shape but is in need of some freshening up from being stored so long. The top is like new, with very clear plastic and works great with no leaks. Now the car has come full circle......and you can call me Ron68/65....(I'll stay Ron68)

That’s a nice looking addition to the herd. Sorry for the loss that makes it available.

Actually Mike, we just set a record for November - 14 days with no rain and November us usually our wettest month. Don't worry though - rain is forecast for tomorrow for the next few days. I got the pictures before the rain and clouds show up. Yes, climate change is for real. Last month, on October 14th it was 90 in Seattle, another record.

For those not mechanically inclined  “stock” is much less complicated and easier to maintain.
Me, I can’t leave things well enough alone.

Stock = good starting point

I've never owned a stock vehicle for very long.  I wonder what that would be like...no, now that I think about it I don't.
