    Me. I also flew into BB 1 in Carrollton. I was picked up at the airport by Mr. Tim who was supposed to drive me to my hotel, but he instead very graciously offered me his spare room that I shared with his old kitty Shadow (it was actually her room).  Tim and Sherry were the best hosts! I would have won the prize for longest commute there, but some guy from Sweden named Hakan beat me! I did win a nice prize (tap and die set - SAE) for winning the spark plug changing contest. (at least I think it was the first one...)

    Carroltton, GA.! That was the second Bash....@BILLY WALTON'S place.
    I've only missed 3 (counting "he Bash that never happened" here in Surfside Beach, SC.)

    I attended the first one. It was a birthday party for MSteve if I remember correctly.
    Mrs. MSteve was quite the hostess.

    As mentioned by Ron68 I was there. Glen was also there and the reason I know that is that he drove me there from Houston.

    I remember you had on a shirt wit SWEDEN on it ib big letters.... Steve made everybody name tags mine said " BILLY WALTON" on it lol

    I have only been able to attend three bashes - the first one in Carrollton Texas, the one near Ovilla after MS  moved there from Carrollton, and the one in Kalispell,  which I drove my Mustang to and was hosted by Day Scovil. That was the closest bash ever held near me, and the farthest north I believe.  All the rest have been on the right coast or the south or midwest. None ever made it to the left coast.
    I almost made it to Sally's Bash, but it got canceled due to the pandemic.

    I've been to I think 5 bashes, but I really only did the caravan thing in one.  The caravaning is probably the best part of the experience.  I recommend that to anyone considering to come to one.  Second best was when Lance, a fellow member graciously let me tag along to a bash in his convertible.   I thought I was in heaven that day, even though it was Illinois.  Lol.   Anyway my bashes:

    Carrollton GA.  This one is special to me because I had my boys with me on this trip.  One of the few times they got away from he'll on earth and had a normal and fun time. 

    Jacksonville Ill:  the one I rode to in Lance's convertible.

    The one outside of Nashville:  beautiful scenery!

    Vandalia bash 1:  Terry was a great host!

    Colorado bash!  This is the one I joined a caravan too.  Overall was a great time.   I still remember the "gas incident". 

    Vandalia bash 2:   we just drove in and made an apperance.  Wasn't really feeling too sporty.   Still a great day!

    If multiple things can go wrong, the one that will go wrong will be the one that causes the most damage.

    Nope, sorry BILLY,  I missed that one too. Now that I am retired and the pandemic has eased off a bit, and I still have my flight benefits with  Alaska, I can try to make more of the really long range bashes.

    I hosted the first two bashes in Carrolton Tx. Then BILLY hosted in Carrollton Ga. That one was the test that led to all future bashes, typically every other one in Tx and “other than Tx”.

    Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

    For a while I thought it had'ta be held someplace called Carrolton.
    Our first Bash was in Franklin TN hosted by Jerry and Lori.  Instant addiction.
    This'll be our 7th Bash.
    Anyone thinking about it, ... "Just Do It", you'll be glad you did.

    We've been to 6.

    The Franklin Bash may have been in 2012, with a TX bash in 2013.  I'm a bit foggy about the year of the Franklin Bash.  I believe Glens50 hosted one at his shop in Tomball TX, which may have been in 2013 (the BASH with the jumping mailbox)
