Neat perspective.

Wow. Either people have gotten dumber or automotive journalism has been really dumbed down. What an amazing article. It blows my mind how technical and in depth this was, and the reviews of modern cars are not 1/10th this technical, despite modern cars having exponentially more technology in them.

Ya gotta remember, Tom, that back in the day folks who read C & D were interested in and had an understanding of vehicle dynamics and what caused them. Many of their readers were getting their vehicular jollies from various British and German offerings and the idea was to try and create interest in something from this side of the pond.
Today "John Q" has evolved to the point where anything more mechanically technical than cargo space, cylinder count, and how many ways he can be on FaceBook hands free, while applying his makeup is more than he can relate to.
Thanks LT for once again finding a gem.

Thanks Lieutenant. Huh, did not know standard wheel was 13 inch. What about a cross bolt main 289... that seems pretty cool, but not necessary. For expected 250k sales the first year, they blew that out of the park. I didn't know the IRS was talked about to the public. Pretty neat read.
