I GUESS.......both are very 'phat financially' because most classic car guys don't drive their cars that much. (spend most of their time in the garage). Which equals very low risk for the insurance comp. Both would prolly be pretty lenient on where you drive it......within reason.
Hagerty likes to spout 'they' are for guys who like to drive their classics.
S'why I picked them and they offered the salvage thang.

I’ve heard that Grundy only allows cars to be driven on and off trailers.🤪
Hagerty let’s me do just about anything except as a dd. I drove my 68 to Savannah for a car show once and stayed in Myrtle Beach for a month with it after the show , all with Hagertys blessing.
Grundy is OK with road trips and staying overnight at hotels. Couldn’t be much more lenient.

Rudi…DD is not a problem when we have 9 months of winter.
So technically…could never be a DD.
25%….eh?

Grundy requires that you prove you have a daily driver that is not the insured classic.

REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
