Bolted's Bash Thrash

I'm looking at a new set of mufflers!! Me and Sheryl were out for a drive on one of those 102 degree days and stopped/started the car on several occasions. The motor temp was around 205, but the ambient temp had it warm enough at the last stop to boil gas over into the intake. Needless to say, I waited till after the boom out the exhaust to pull the coil wire and spin it over.

I will try to get to a new set of plug and inspect the needle and seats in the carb. I did find my cruise control that I bought before the Michigan Bash that was lost for 2 years!! Maybe I'll have time to get that on too.

What brand of muffs was it that blew?

Hey, finding that cruise control is money in the bank.

Thirty thousand comedians out of work...

John, I wouldn't drive it until you make sure the top of the muffler case isn't contacting the floor. Mine was and burned the heat insulation I had above the muffler, and the undercoating.
