Very Special Thank You.....

This year marks the 55th year that Mrs. BB1 has put up with me.  We celebrated that momentous event back in early May.  That's not when the actual date is but we knew we would have something else happening on the actual date....Namely, we would be in New Braunfels, TX enjoying the company of our many Mustang friends at the 20th MustangSteve Bash on September 28...our actual anniversary. So, we would like to express a big THANK YOU to the entire Bash gang who attended the group dinner on Thursday, September 28 for helping us celebrate.  But...we would also like to express a very special THANK YOU to Carol and Mike (6Sally6) who, I suspect put the word out, and Anna and Ed (Mochaman) whom arranged for a very nice cake to be served to the entire group.  My apologies for not mentioning  anyone else who was instrumental in arranging this wonderful surprise.

Those of you who have never attended one of these Bashes really cannot know just how special this group is, and you are missing out by not being there.  This is not the first time this sort of thing has happened at a Bash and I'm sure it won't be the last.

So thank you all once again for making it a very special night for Jean and I.  We feel very fortunate to be included in such a fine group.  MS used to say that he couldn't understand why anyone would drive a thousand miles for a free hamburger or hot dog.  Well, once you attend one, you'll understand why.

Very good to see you posting, Walt.  Your name came up recently regarding you electronic skills.  You know, Brenda and you...or at least Brenda gave Jean and I an anniversary cake at either Lisa and Terry's first bash in '13 or at Lori and Jerry's bash in '14.
Hope you two can join in again, sure do miss you.

Happy Anniversary!   Wow you guys married as long as I've been alive!   I think I'm 55.   That means y'all got hitched in 1968!

Re: Very Special Thank You.....

And Sally and Carol were married (that sounds a bit odd) in 1969, the year Lt Dan was born.

Bob I'd be happy to buy you and Jean a anniversary cake but can't take credit where credit isn't due. My B-day is 9-27 and I think that's what the cake was for. At least that what Brenda told me, maybe she told you something different. Here's to many more anniversaries!!!!

Hey Walt.  How about you get your Mustang or that Fairlane (my favorite) on the road and cruise to the Bako Bash next year with me.  I think Jean is going to fly out early and visit her brother before the bash so I'll be solo.  Sure would love to see Brenda and you again.

And a very happy and very belated birthday to you, Walt.

Congratulations to you both! It was my privilege to sit across from you and listen to SoCal hot rodding stories from you both. Some of the details were mind blowing. You were there at the birth of some key stuff. All my best to you both.
