Is it any wonder why "us-guyz" ...boomers... are car crazy

https://youtu.be/ON-nLLBF15c

Is it the fast/noisy/ manly-type racecars(spelled the same front and back!) or the thin/good-look'in/sexy
women that seem to hang around these events that made us car crazy ?!!
Compared to today's  "portly/tattoed/foul-mouth chicks.... the women of the 60's are still very easy-on-the-eyes !
Today's rolling computers...driven by over paid spoiled brat/prima donnas  make for a boring watch in my opinion ! (One reason I stopped watching NASCAR )
I believe 1963 was just the beginning of Ford's participation in racing.
Even if...the film clip is B&W I still got that little 'niggle' in the back of my brain and down my spine watching the 'real' racing unfold in Nassau.

I admit I was particularly attracted to the car shows and cruises with a rockabilly theme, so I agree with your line of thinking.

Take a look at this:  I almost seriously went back for this.  I think covid kille

You might recognize this as a place your might steed has been.

Re: Is it any wonder why "us-guyz" ...boomers... are car crazy

All I know is… I started liking cars at a very early age. And, in order to HAVE one, I had to build it myself, or with the help of my big brothers and my Dad.

The pic of my boxy racer has the name Dragon Wagon on the side, and this pic was a couple of years before Shelby stuck that name on a Cobra.

Thanks again, Sal.  Watching that old stuff still gets my motor running.
