Seems it goes both ways on the opposite sides of the Atlantic. This was a beautiful creation that was stretched 7" with a Chevy 350, stroked to 383, shoehorned in. The doors open suicide fashion.
This was at the Beach's (restaurant) Cruise In that is held every Wednesday during the summer, at Portland International Raceway. There are usually over 1000 cars there, every week. The field is adjacent to the drag strip where the background sounds of roaring engines color the event.
