Also having a clunk like fastbackboy.

I am having that clunk sound also. Seems like when I pull the car in the shed, next time I get in and back out, it seems like something moves before the car will move. Have checked the u joints, tried to move the driveshaft back and forth, tried moving the axle, everything seems tight. Just seems something is spooling up, for a better word, kind of hard to describe. This is in a 67 coupe, 302 5 speed, 9" trac lock with a currie pumpkin. Any thoughts?

PO had put the driveline in before I got it, so I am not 100 percent sure on how it was all put together.

Re: Also having a clunk like fastbackboy.

Check the yoke in the tail of the tranny to be sure it slides easily.  It may be hanging up, or might actually have too long of a driveshaft installed.
