Jimmy, it's only the Rainbow bridge thats shut down for some kind of exercise the Q.L is open but jammed up solid going to the US, The Peace bridge is always a mess, I'm going over tomorrow after the nonsense is done with.
I' definately going to get Nexus so I can use the Lower bridge.

Re: 3M Rustproofing

Ok but  this was at duty free Heading to QL  bridge  in line  where they had Heavy Duty Border , Police and a Tactical unit, they Grabbed 2 pass cars and 2 vans , Border officer was good enough to let me do U Turn as that's a NO NO

All is Good, ill Go Back tomorrow I was driving the My mustang  would have burned massive fuel and not good for eng Temp either in that long line up.

I have my Interview for Nexus in 3 weeks  I just applied last week my interview is at QL although they may allow me to Go Thru the  Nexus Office at Toronto Airport because I Work for Air Canada?

Thanks for the replies Guys as always !!

Re: 3M Rustproofing

when I rebuilt my front end last winter I cleaned up  the underside of the shock towers and sprayed them with a can of 3m undercoating that I had on the shelf.  Well it appears that that stuff dont age well in the can.  After 9 months of being sprayed under there it is still wet and when I had the frontend aligned the Tech found that out and had it all over his hands, nothing brake cleaner wont remove!!

Re: 3M Rustproofing

One thing I learned using that stuff.  You have to shake it up really well, and when you hit the button for the first time, spray it into a trash can or something because every single can emitted a big blob of the stuff in an uncontrolled splatter.  Once that first SWPLAT comes out, it sprays perfect until the can is empty.

The first coats I put on were done in 95+ degree ambient air.  Spray was consistent and it covered in a very dry finish that was like rough sandpaper.

Second time I used it, I had the AC on at around 75 degrees and it sprayed very well and laid down a nice smooth coat.  I think I prefer the second one, but either one should work.

Years ago I tried some Marhyde undercoater and it sprayed on and formed alot of bubbles.  Bubbles can collect dirt and moisture, having the opposite effect of what the undercoating is designed to do. Will never use that stuff again.   I have had good results with 3-M products.
