Received the Dynacorn cowl .

Wondering about the best way to install. The orignal was spot welded about every 2" along the dash lip and the top hat panel which are about 3/8" apart. I am thinking punch holes every 4" and screw inbetween to pull the parts togeather then pull the screws and plug weld the holes. Also it appeared to have a sealer between the panels like seam sealer before it was welded. I have never done this before so any advise would be appreciated.
