Is it possible to create an "off-topic" posting area/forum? I'm finding it difficult to wade through all the non-Mustang/humor/silly photo posts to find the Mustang information/problem/solutions posts for which this forum was originally created.
Not bashing anyone, just asking a question.
Cheers,
John

I think that off-topic forum is called Facebook.
I agree that too much non-Ford stuff is being posted. I have let that stuff slide because there are hardly any other posts being made.
Maybe time to go back to the old days when I just deleted all that stuff as it was posted? Some will push the limits always (you know who you are, Sal)
How about posting something about your car, or your plans to get it to the next bash, instead of the titty pics?

Thanks! I fear I am also guilty of a few off-topic posts, for which I profusely apologize. I should know better by now. Won't happen again.

Keep posting Sal, this place would be a ghost town without them🤪

Just my opinion, But I really don't care if the topic is working on your lawnmower, the latest upgrade for your garage/mancave, or even your Chevy truck, and I enjoy the nostalgic drag race stuff.
With the cost of everything these days, those of us still raising kids and trying to get them out the door just don't have the money to be in the middle of complete builds, hell a single tire can cost well over $200. I feel like I am doing good just to keep the old car on the road.
I enjoy the conversation among older car guys, I realize the site was set up to discuss classic Mustang issues and builds, and I believe in our hearts that where it still is but face it there aren't too many 20 somethings starting classic Mustang builds.
Everyone has an opinion, but I enjoy checking in and seeing how those up North ae dealing with the snow or see the lates upgrade to the shop down south and dreaming about when I'll have a few extra $$ and more importantly some time to wrench on one of the cars. Sometime its jus the inspiration that's needed to keep a project going.

I hear you guys. I have no issues with old drag races or other stuff thst is pertinent to our daily lives.
I am certainly no prude, but I do believe there is no room here for sexual pictures or innuendo or foul language. Or poking fun of the looks of others.
So, keep it clean in that regard and we can all be happy.

DANG
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
