gonna try and run 225x45x17 on front and 235x45x17 on rear.
Been looking at Nitto NT555 tires and BF Goodrich T/A cant decide.

Post some pics when you get them on.

The Nittos run a little wider than other brands as far as tread width. Those sizes should work well with your 7” wheels.

I took my wife for a ride out thru the country today and when I would hit a dip in the road it would bump the middle of the arch on the front fenders. I believe I cut to much coil. I have a new set I could put on. It has 215x55x16 that are 25.3 tall and 8.5 wide the 225x45x17 are 25 tall and 8.9 wide.
the 225x55x16 25.7 tall and 8.9 wide and the 235x45x17 are 25.3 tall and 9.3 wide.

You may try to bend the fender lip if the contact isn't too severe. I did this to my 65 was was able to get 1/8" to 1/4" clearance. (I have 225 width tires).
Eastwood makes a Fender Lip bender, that is what I used ... as I don't need it anymore, PM me if you're interested.
