Re: GM L83 LT Heads on a 5.0L 302 Ford Small-Block?

Blasphemy! The SBF would reject those Chevy heads! And besides, what intake manifold would you be able to use? Seems like an incredible amount of work and for what?

It just one of those projects being done to show what a shop can do.  The amount of work required isn't even close to the modest gains you might see over a set of AFRs.  Frankly for that kind of money just bolt a blower to it and then the head flow really doesn't matter anymore.

Re: GM L83 LT Heads on a 5.0L 302 Ford Small-Block?

Yeah, most guys just settle for one of those ugly-assed, oversized, has no business on the car, cheap, chinese GM distributors when they want to jack up their small block Ford.
Whenever I see one of those on a Mustang, I just turn and walk away, because I know there is no hope having any meaningful discussion with the owner.
