The method I used for that exact same setup was to cut the end fitting off the front of the Versailles cables, slip it out of the housings, then cut the housings to fit the car, then reinsert the wires into the housings, connected to the calipers.  Then overlapped the front ends of the cable with the existing front half of the system and clamped it.  There are more glamorous and probably better ways to join the cables than a couple of hole depot clamps, but it worked successfully for very little cash outlay.
