I bought one of these new loaded out Lobo trucks yesterday. I have been wanting something smaller than a full-sized Ram quad cab to use daily. I absolutely hate the black wheels, so I have been searching the web for some replacements. Any suggestions? They are 19x8.5 with 30mm offset. No black wheels. They make it look like somebody stole the hubcaps.
I really like the FR500 style wheels. Of course they had to NOT use Mustang bolt pattern on this thing. It has 5 on 108mm.
My truck got recalled before it got off the lot. It has a totally worthless engine block heater (at least worthless in TX) that has a safety recall, so they would not allow me to take it home. Awaiting backordered parts so they can fix it. They gave me a Bronco loaner until they can bring it to me after it gets fixed.
Maybe these wheels or ???

Nice! On my list of future rides.

I like them, but not on your truck. Not truckish enought. (Whatever that means.)
It would look good on my '15GT.

Coyote powered right? Don't start looking at Whipple kits or twin turbo ![]()

Don’t say no unless you provide an answer/suggestion

The Lariat has kind of attractive wheels. The Escape also has the same lug pattern (5x108) and takes the same size tires (255-55/19). Those have spoked rims that don't look awful. Maybe you could work out a trade with the dealer or find some gently used ones for sale?

Steve I just totaled my F-150 and thought about one of those. Let the wife talk me into something else, let's not go there. I'm with you, I don't see what these young kids see in these black wheels. I would prefer what John posted.

Your top picture shown was pretty much the wheels you got on the early 20's F-150 Raptor. A couple of years earlier ,they had a wheel that had a little more pointed center that I thought would make a cool wheel for a mustang till I saw the 114 VS 118mm lug size.

Those Lariat wheels are the same wheel that are a $100 option on the LOBO, but on the Lobo, they are solid black. Both are sort of FR500 theme but only 7.5” wide. Seems like all the aftermarket wheels are 8.5” wide, which I think will look better
I found these. What is your opinion?

Want something that looks good and is easy to clean. That eliminates any fake rivets or wheels with a million spokes.

A guy has these on sale on facebook for $1,000 with tires. 20”
I can’t see putting used stuff on a new vehicle

What about painting all or part of the rims you have body color ... or silver ... or white?
My tastes, which undoubtedly differ from yours, really like the 5-spoke wheels as are found on the Honda Ridgeline. IMO, the wheels with all the smaller spokes make the Maverick look like the SUV it almost is.

You are right, John. Our tastes in wheels are definitely at opposite ends of the spectrum.

There is nothing on a Ridgeline that I like. Honda must have jumped for joy when Tesla introduced their truck. 😁

I could go for a five spoke wheel but have looked at over 300 wheels and have not found anything suitable.
Help me out, guys. I wish they had just used a Mustang bolt pattern

I really like these Konigs but they are only made in 18”
Seems that 95% of new wheels are all black. They are just all ugly! Look like somebody stolevthe hub caps

i see a quite a few Hybrids running around town here. I think Ford hit a home run with these trucks if their problem free.

As a hail mary you might reach out to 3030 Autosport, they have really nice wheels. Maybe they'll have an offering you like.

Check out Chip Foose wheels. He has some really ugly ones.

The Ford Edge uses the same bolt pattern as the Maverick and Escape. Ford doesn't make the Edge any longer so they'd be used rims but they are offered in the bright finish. That way you'd keep your Ford all Ford - Pix stolen from an images search :-)

You said I should not comment without a suggested wheel. OK. Here it is.
John Ha's top image. The red Ford. That would fit quite well.

Thank you for that suggestion. However, I prefer the cost of my wheels to not exceed the cost of the brand new truck.

Konig Oversteer…perfect with a couple of signature marks behind it. 😁

Steve, You only buy wheels ONE time in the duration of your truck. Get the wheels you want. The price will only bother you for a short time, then you will go on to worry about something else.. I'm still kicking myself because I hesitated on the price. When I finely decided to buy those cool wheels, The company had gone belly up and sold to American Wheels due to Covid.

Do you have a Mustang? Why do I not remember seeing pictures of it? 😁 Let's get that radiator support weekend up! This is a good time of year for valley people to visit the Central Coast.
