    CPU, Computer Installation location?

    Hi Steven.
    I loosely followed James W design.

    I was using a Tweecer to tune the ecu, which required mods to the plastic bracket. This weakened it to the point that it broke. So I milled some slots in the metal bracket,used some nylon webbing straps from a cheap laptop bag, with velcro sewn on.
    Where your ECU plug ends up will probably dictate precise location.

    I used James W’s information as well.

    The ECM is between the dash speakers and the original radio in the 65.

    Just be aware clearance will be needed for the wiper transmission assembly.

    It is a tough location if air conditioning is part of your build…may need to remove a/c to access ECM.
    I have an under dash a/c that is directly below the radio.

    Just food for thought.
