Paint question for 641/2 coupe

I am going to be painting my engine compartment engine new fox body brake booster  radiator and other things in the compartment what sheen paint should I use I'm leaning towards satin. I also am planning on pulling out the grille and paint it as well but I dunno what sheen to do. Also should I paint my booster a different color then the rest of the stuff under the hood? I was thinking of painting it the gold color that for did on some brake boosters in later years

Re: Paint question for 641/2 coupe

Most incorrectly think the grille cam black. Actually, all the repops I've seen have come black as well. The original color was sort of a bluish-silver. I bought the correct color from one of the Mustang parts retailers and repainted my brand new repop grille. Looks sharp IMO.

Hard to tell the actual color in this pic but you can see it is definitely not black. Of course, this all goes out the window if there was a change in color between 64-1/2 and 65

That's funny you know now that you show me that they weren't black ha. Thanks for the fast response and help. My grill was faded silver with some black on it as well the previous mustang have used that same paint on the radiator as well as it has the same look

Re: Paint question for 641/2 coupe

Sorry also what sheen would the black be under the hood that's on the fire wall and everything satin. I wouldn't think it'd be semi gloss
