Im pretty sure this is bad

So recently I made a deal to swap for a used ms power brake kit.  The deal included a 2006 mustang master cyclinder..

I have everything set to go and I am bench bleeding the m/c and there is a leak from the back of the m/c.  That is bad, right?  I've checked it several times and its not just seeping from non use.  So I'm 99% sure that I can't use it as is.  It will continue to leak.

So is there a easy fix other than replacing it with another m/c?

Thanks.
Richard.

Re: Im pretty sure this is bad

A leaky master cylinder is bad for your health and the paint on the apron. Get a new one if there is any doubt.

Re: Im pretty sure this is bad

update.. I'm not completely sure that it is a 2006 mustang m/c.. I've been googling pictures and they look right but the images at the part shops show a different m/c.. This is the one I have..

Im sure its a 87-93 5.0 m/c..

So new question..

Does this work with the power booster set up?  I'm thinking it will.   hmmmmmm...

Thanks
