Need some screws, help!

I am in need of the two stainless screws that hold the stainless window frame to the door glass mounting bracket for my 66 coupe.  I am not seeing them available anywhere aftermarket.  Anyone have any door glass laying around that would be willing to part with the screws?

Re: Need some screws, help!

I can help you out with that I think.  I have a couple of coupe windows that I probably will never need.  You are talking about the little screws that attach the wrap around stainless trim to the glass channel right? I am at work right now so I will need to make sure that they are still there.  If they are, I will send them to you.

Re: Need some screws, help!

Had the same problem. I tapped them out and used some small machine screws. Perfect.

Re: Need some screws, help!

Kris - I sent you a pm but the screws in the spare windows I have were self tapping screws.  I don't think they are correct but they are yours if you want them.

Re: Need some screws, help!

When I tore my coupe apart also most all the interior screws besides the sill plate screw and armrest base screws were the same stainless steel number 8 I believe by 3/4" don't quote me it's been a while though seance I did mine but I also bought a box of 50 from the family owned hardware store here in Riverton utah it's a branch of of ace hardware pretty good deal to I got a box for $5.00
