Help...need an upper steering column bearing retainer plate

One I can find is off the 68 column I modified to put in the 66 to give it a colapsable column...but I kept the 66 upper part on the 68column and the retainer holes are different. Its only been 2 years this column has been in pieces...can't believe I can't find it! Has anyone got one of these or know where I can buy one. p/n I need is a 3839 as id'd  on ipc diagram. Other picture is of the 68 retainer that won't fit. Last pic of of the mostly assembled 66/68 colapsable column. Tried to upload ipc pic instead of link, but wouldn't let me

Re: Help...need an upper steering column bearing retainer plate

Okay, after pulling the blinker plate back off to get a look at what size retainer plate to make, there is one attached to the bottom of the blinker/electrical plate that I hadn't noticed. Anyone have this apart and remember if there is a separate metal retainer plate under the blinker/hazard plate on a 68....I'm using the 68 electrical plate. thanks
