Looking to install a new vinyl top on my green 67 coupe. What is the best surface prep to do on it. The current roof looks great except for little tiny (bubbles, but not really bubbles) I will need to prep or repaint before this will be done. Do I just epoxy primer, and or paint? Do I scuff the surface? Thanks for your advice.

Scuff the surface, some recommend paint or primer. The upholstery shop didn't want paint, but another did. Use the right glue and be fast! Worry about the lines being straight! Not that hard really.
