FWIW...Poop Boyz sells those tires and they gurantee lowest price. Get Wallys price and take it to PBoys and they match and BEAT by 5%. Jus'say'in.

A tires a tire! IMO.
A touring tire is a nice mix of soft rubber'd performance tire and a long mileage harder rubber'd tar! I don't think they come in white letters if that's impotent.

Look on the sidewall of those Nexen tires......... Made in China........if that doesn't bother you, buy em....
Have to disagree on, "a tires a tire"........buy quality tires....I'm a little leary of some 12 year old chinese kid making a buck 98 an hour building my tires......

I agree with Josh! I have had 2 sets of Toyo Tires on my van and they only lasted 25K and they were a 80K mile tire. The cupped so bad on the outsides they wore down to the belt. I rotated them every 6k. My alignment was perfect because Toyo claimed that was the problem. I went with a Bf Goodrich and I now have 60K with even wear. I've had good luck with Cooper Tires on our SUV.

I like Michelin's for my daily drivers. I've never had a problem getting the 60 to 70,000 miles they are rated for, but hold on to your wallet they are a little pricey. I can't justify these tires for the my Mustang, they would probably reach the six-year lifespan before the tread wore out. Especially when it still doesn't run.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
