Alignment specs.....

Well just got the mustang back. Installed new suspension with adjustable strut rods. The guy that aligned it was nice, but could not get the numbers I wanted. Which I was using Dazes specs. I did the Arning drop and have roller perches. Anyway, it drove good from Dallas to Canton which is an hour east. Drove straight with little to no wandering. Best it has driven since I bought it 10 years ago. My question is: there are no shims on the passenger side. He had to take them all out. And still could not get Camber to 0. It's at 0.4 on drivers side and 0.5 on passengers side. Also Caster is at 0.6 on both sides. The only number he was able to get dialed in was 1/8th toe in. Any suggestions??? Below is a pic for the computer screen with camber on top. Was thinking about buying my own alignment tool and doing it myself. Any thoughts on that??

Re: Alignment specs.....

If I'm thinking right it sounds like your LCA needs to go out or your UCA needs to go in.You could get a camber kit for your LCA, I think Daze and a few others sell those. Do you have a Monte carlo bar? Is there any chance if can be spreading the top to wide.

If this forum can't fix it, it isn't broke.

Re: Alignment specs.....

Yes I have a Monte Carlo bar. Guess I'll need to buy a LCA kit.

Well........if it drives THAT good I'd leave it alone!!
Unless the tires start to wear funny.
Save your money for a big old camshaft!
