Finally got to see the 66's new color....

Mrs BB picked out the color  for our 66 and the bod guy called yesterday and told me to bring her up to give it the final blessing before he goes  and buys enough to do the whole car.
He had painted the inside of the cowl and the under side of the deck lid so we ran up to his  shop this morning.  I'm happy to report that I am very happy with the color butt...even  better, Jean is just plain tickled.

Oh, Pix?  Well there'll be no pix 'til the paint is finished but I will say that it ain't red and it ain't blue and it ain't yaller or silver.  But it is a color that also ain't on many 66 Mustangs.

Hope I get it back in time to put it  together and make it  to the Bash.

BB

Re: Finally got to see the 66's new color....

No leaks or strange vibrations...but it's a bit slow to get in gear now and it feels like the brakes are dragging.

BB, maybe you need a little JD additive. Repeat as necessary.Your brakes might still drag but you won't care as much.

Thanks for all the good words, guys.  I'm gettin' exciteder and exciteder, and I think it will be a fine looking ride to haul around a lady and her old lame guy.
