engine bay refurb.

Progress on striping and painting the engine bay on 67. Also time to choose A/C system.Have been reading with intrest the resent post on A/C system choises.seems every one is happy with the performance of their chosen system. Leaning toward the Vintage Air due to offering a kit for a Factoty A/C car, not sure it makes a real difference. Also planing on installing the MS power brake / t-5 pedal assembly before going back together.

Steve, that thing looks like it was caught in a flood?  Be nice when it is all spiffed up!

Re: engine bay refurb.

What paint are you going to use?  I was not that interested in exact originality, but I wanted something like the original satin/flat black.  I used VHT Epoxy satin black SP652.  Pretty tuff paint, sprays nice and a lot more chemical resistant than regular spray enamel.

Re: engine bay refurb.

Thanks for the info. Was going to use some left over Hot Rod black from Kirker. But thinking about future toutch up the rattel can mite be the best choice.
