Got my passenger side Compressor mounting brackets done last night...

Took some some time and cardboard for the templates, but I'm pretty happy with the results. Only down side is I still need to run an AC delete pulley in the spot of the old compressor, which is part of why I rent to the trouble of relocating it...to clean up the engine. 66 coupe w 302 and T-5, notched shock towers and most of wiring hidden. Fox body serpentine brackets. I still might try to move the tensioner over to the drivers side and flip it upside down, but the 1/4" bracket over there I think would flex too much. Any ideas?? I included a pic of the 2 main brackets looking down at compressor and one of aft stableizer bracket looking up.

Nice work Jamie.
Ya took at's idea and ran with it.  Are your brackets plasma cut or jetted??
Think I'd like a card board outline of your brackets to take to Eric and have some jetted out.
I like at's origional work, and how you've added to it. Now bout runnin lines.

If it ain't broke, I haven't modified it Yet

No, just a band saw, and porta band and bench grinder to clean them up. When the paint dries I'll trace them out for you. The stablizer bracket will be a little tougher as I bolted that on in 2 pieces and tach wellded the joint, then unbolted it and welded it on the bench.

unfortunatly, thats where my power steering pump sits. I'm open to sugestions to relocate my tensioner and eliminate the ac delete pulley I have in the Drivers side valve cover ac mount spot though. Corky said I'll need an idler to interupt the crank-ac comp-alternator which are about 90 degrees from each other.

If'n the alt can pivot, use it to adjust the belt and no tensioner is needed. I put the idler pulley on the thru bolt for the alt which loops it around the a/c and alt a little more. I did that because of belt squeal (slippage), but later found out it was the wp pulley. Re-routed the belt and all is quiet.
