More Progress!

Another cold weekend in Minnesota equals more work done on my coupe!  Drivetrain is in and front suspension is hung!

Looks Great Kristang.

Make sure you trim down your sway bar links or they'll rub on the lower shocks.

Thanks Steve69!  Still trying to figure out what to do with the Unisteer rack bracket and the SoT LCA plates!  Thanks for your insight on that issue.  Just not comfortable cutting holes in that bracket.

is that 540 at the crank? I thought I remember reading where you had the engine dyno'd already...

Not too bad of a mistake... LOL
Awesome.... I had mine Chassis Dyno'd last weekend.. Got 400 RWHP and 455 RW Torque. I think it said I was at like 519ish at the crank. I'll ahve to look at the graph again....

What tranmission do you have?  What brand of engine dyno did you have your motor tested on?  I had mine dyno'd on a DTS, which typically reads about 25-30 hp and tq less than a Superflow.  I am curious to see what the RWHP difference is on my car.

   I had to do a lot of cutting on that bracket to bolt it in and to make enough room to get socket on the LCA bolts and nuts.   Unisteer has known this problem with there bracket since 2009 when I installed mine.  I let them know...LOL   Im not sure why they haven't made the adjustments on there laser cutter to make the bracket work.   I personally wouldn't use the camber kit.   You can ask some of guys on here if they have used them.  Basicly it locks in the lower control arm bolt so it wont shift.   Maybe if you hit a 2 foot Wisconsin pot hole it might move...LOL   Steve69

I already made the modifications for that kit in my LCA's.  I had no problem with my bracket until I added all this material.  I have figured out a way to make it happen using some different fasteners and a slight modification to the mounting holes.  If I have to adjust the LCA's, it's only 2 bolts to drop the bracket and make the change-or am I over simplifying it?

Not sure, I know it started with a C and they were at GoodGuys. I'll look it up when I get home. I am running a Cobra Z-Spec built by Glenn.... I ran it up to 6000 in 4th during the pulls.

I think my Guy did it with the rack in place.  They could drop the bracket which has the 2 bolts if they need more room.  They would just have to do the Toe in and out last since that would be effected.
