Can't see why not. On a stock setup, removing the crossmenber and dropping the steering linkage is all thats required.
I first did this on a 69 fastback in 1982 at the ripe old age of 16, using a corded drill and a cut off 1/4" extersion to hold a socket.....Pre cordless or air powered tool days...

I don't have r&p steering,but I can see where that could present a problem. It depends on how much clearance you have between it and your oil pan. Might have to disconnect it from the steering column and lower the rack to have enough clearance. Maybe someone with that set-up will weigh in.
