Late Model Brackets

Can we use 94-95 stuff for things like AC, PS, and alt? Or should we stick with Fox body stuff? It will be going on a 351w in a 66.

Re: Late Model Brackets

94-95 5.0 uses a short water pump, which puts the compressor where the shock tower wants to be on 65-66.  I remember DC said he used 94-95 engine and front accessories in his Mustang, but as I recall, he made a bracket to mount the compressor. Maybe he will post a pic, so you can see it.

Re: Late Model Brackets

I do have the 95 front cover and water pump on my car.All my brackets are custom and the AC compressor is low on the passenger side. It is a 95 style unit with modified connections to get the hoses pointed the way I wanted. I do not think the way I did it would work with the original shock towers, my car has the MII style front suspension with no towers. On the 95 front dress it is also hard to get the pass side rocker cover on/off because the alternator is so close. I use socket head bolts with a magnetic bit holder so I can get to them with a ball end bit. I like the fact that the pulleys and belts are not cantelevered out so far in front of the engine. If the snow ever melts here in Michigan, I will try to get a couple of pics.
