Carb/Throttle Set Up

Tried to do this on my own and have figured that I need a new Throttle/Accelerator cable. What else do I need to hook up my original gas pedal to the carb. I have a 4 Barrel Holly 600CFM Carb sitting on top of a Edlebrock Manifold on 302 in my 69 Coupe. I have a bag of parts that came with the carb. I know I need more and just can't quite figure out what I need. Pictures will help me big time.Thanks.

Re: Carb/Throttle Set Up

The stock original 2-barrel 69 cable works quite well if you modify the bracket that bolts to the two rear carb studs so the cable reaches the lever.

Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

Re: Carb/Throttle Set Up

Very Nice looking engine bay you got going on there!
Ditto to what Rudi posted is what I'm doing...couple of rod ends, threaded rod and some 3/8" fuel line and jam nuts, but the cable Steve's talking about is an easier route.

Stupid Hurts!...66 coupe, 302, 4 wheel disks...lots of Mods
