Wheel choice

You think these wheels would fit my 66 mustang?  Tires are a 245/45/17 all around on a stock 02 GT wheel.

Re: Wheel choice

The fronts will rub the fender.  You will need 1" spacers in front to make them clear the UCA. You can use 1/2" spacers in back but that requires longer studs.  The fronts would be better if 7" wide and a 235x45 tire was used.  Some people stick the full 8" fronts in there with a 1" spacer and drive it, but it will rub.  I used to have them like that on mine, but with a 235x45.  Narrowed to 7" and it fits fine with fender lip rolled.
