Is Caltracs necessary on a strictly street driven stang with warmed up 289 making 240-250HP? Planning to replace my sagging rear spring with new fiberglass leaf (Flex A Form) combined with GW Del A Lum bushing to supress lateral movement. The vendor highly suggested Caltracs but I doubt it very much as my car is strictly a street driven car with 289 and I am swapping to AOD from manual sometimes this year, naturally no clutch drop at 6500, so I really doubt that I will ever develop wheel hop?? Should I be concerned?
Thanks for the advices fellas...

Is it safe to assume that Caltracs is not really neessary? Seems like no one is familiar with the device here?

No need for Caltracs other than "bling"/eye candy/bragging rights. Your fiberglass springs should hold up quite well under street conditions.

That's what I thought... The vendor, which is a well respected vendor mind you, keep on pushing the Caltracs even though I kept on mentioning that it's a street machine with no intention of going high....Sigh..So much for a respect these days....
