14" stock steel ford rims

needing rims and tires to mount on 66 mustang so I can roll around garage (cheap)
stock 8" rear end with drums and CSRP disc brakes on front.
Will stock steel 14" ford rims fit over CSRP disc Brakes up front? found on Craigslist Houston a set of 4 rims and tires for $100.
thanks

Don't know  how large the CRSP rotors are but unless they're huge you'll probably be okay if you pull the  calipers...worst case.  The stock KH brakes are 11 or 11 1/4 rotors and they came with 14" wheels, I believe.

Re: 14" stock steel ford rims

CSRP has a couple of different disc brake setups.  I bought his K/H kit for my 66 coupe, which is the original type 4 piston calipers.  They are the identical calipers and rotors that are on my 65FB, which has 14"wheels.  If you have the CSRP granada brakes, I cannot confirm or deny fitment of 14 inch wheels.

Re: 14" stock steel ford rims

Unless your new CSRP brakes are the Kelsey-Hayes 4 pistion style that mounted on your original spindles, the answer is NO.  The Granada style brakes have a larger hub so you won't even get the stock wheels on far enough to see if the calipers hit or not.

When I installed my front brakes, I had to go to Granada steel wheels with the larger hub opening in them.

CSRP Disc brake kit was retro fit for 6cyl to V8. I believe the kit is a Granada stlye that is modified for 66 mustang. (new spindles). Thanks will proceed cautiously

Re: 14" stock steel ford rims

Go to a pick a part.  You can get wheels very cheap - $10ea.  Most will have tires already on them.  Any Ford will fit.  You can even use 15"-16", don't limit yourself to 14".  Get ones with little or no tread left.  Then the tires will be free.  tires with good tread will cost more.  You can get any size and you don't have to deal with the size of the center hole since you will not be driving the car.

Donut spares work well too.
